Dover, NH Senior Portraits :: Melanie

I think it's great that a lot of high schools are giving seniors the opportunity to pick their own photographer for their portraits.  When I graduated, back in 2000 (eekk, I'm old), we had to use a photography studio my high school picked.  Of course they were awful - so staged and boring.  

I met up with Melanie and her mom in York, ME on a cool Summer evening.  Melanie was so much fun to photograph - I think there's a nice combination of smiley, serious and sassy!  :)

Mini Vacations : Cushing's Island, ME

During the summer I don't have a lot of free weekends but when I do I try to schedule little weekends away.  This particular weekend my mini vacation was to Maine!  My sister and brother in law co-own a house on Cushing's Island. Cushings is about a 20 minute boat ride off the coast of Portland.  I jump at the chance to tag along with them whenever they go.  :)  This time I brought my camera and followed my adorable niece and nephew around!

Perkins Cove Ogunquit, Maine Engagement : Annie & Mike

A few weeks ago I met up with Annie and Mike in Ogunquit, ME for their engagement session.  We had originally booked their E-session in early May but had to cancel due to rainy weather! It was totally worth the wait because we ended up with a gorgeous warm spring afternoon with lots of golden yummy sunlight. :)

Annie and Mike are so adorable together.  I can't wait to shoot their April 2015 wedding in Salem, MA.
